Import to the Russian Federation of plastic and aluminium jars for cosmetic products

Project: Import to the Russian Federation of plastic and aluminium jars for cosmetic products
Consignor: Great Britain
Consignee: Moscow, Russia
Transport: Auto
Characteristics of the project:

  1. The importer according to the contract was Intersolution Ltd.
  2. Delivery was organized from two different UK suppliers by one vehicle.
  3. Certification of the products.

The Russian buyer and manufacturer of cosmetic products has applied to Intersolution with a request to import jars from the UK. There were two manufacturers (one specializes on plastic items and the other on aluminium ones), both situated in Great Britain. Import to the Russian Federation of plastic and aluminium jars was organized by the Intersolution Company.

The specialists of Intersolution have contacted both suppliers and requested them for the samples. When the samples were approved by the Russian customer, contracts have been signed between Intersolution and the suppliers. The manufacturers didn’t have to contact each other in any way, even when delivery was organized in one truck – all that was organized by Intersolution.

Due to strict Russian Customs legislation concerning import/export documentation it is very important to be sure that all shipping documents are correctly performed and conform to the rules. The specialists of our Company have checked the drafts of shipping documents from both suppliers and made all needful modifications according to the customs requirements.

Also two declarations of conformity to the State Standards (GOST) (one for plastic jars and another for aluminium jars) were obtained by the Intersolution Company.

After the successful custom clearance of both types of goods they were delivered right to the warehouse of the Russian customer in Moscow. Both suppliers have received written notifications that the goods were delivered to the end buyer.
